  Well priced, polite staff, nearby parking facilities, quiet side road entrance. General decor is showing its age. It could do with an update. Many rooms lack bedside sockets, and even large rooms only have two mains sockets at the opposite end of the room, to the bed.
  
  Bathrooms are usually nice and clean, but other areas were sometimes with aged dust. Though covers and sheets were clean; sometimes duvets inside had not been cleaned for a while.
  
  The larger rooms are spacious, and luxurious feeling in this respect; if a little sparse and dated in design. The folding panels which covered the window panels, were a nice touch.
  
  The hotel is literally just around the corner from a Tesco Express and some cafés and other shops, which is a definite plus, meaning one can stock up on supplies, or grab a snack at most times.

  I have stayed here before and the place has been acceptable for the relatively low price. On my recent visit though, the room was small, shockingly filthy and in a poor state of repair. I could barely sleep with nagging concerns of bacteria, potential parasites and unknown slimes and particles contaminating every surface. Although in need of a shower in the morning I did not use the facility here, lest I become more soiled in the process. I should have complained on discovery of these issues but I was too inebriated. Oh well.

  It was a standard, just fine experience. Nothing special. The decor/room/place was dated, overall the place really needs a refurb or at least a deep clean. The breakfast was also pretty fine. Nothing to complain about or rave about.

  Hotel was well situated, slightly run down building and this was shown in the room quality but for a cheap overnight stay i couldn't complain. Room was a good size for a double and view was of Nottingham city centre (and the car park).
