  stayed for two nights. Great location , decor is good but some of the interior fixtures looked like corners had been cut , walls were thin. Overall would stay again

  This is not the first time I have used the St James hotel. The location is perfect. First impression walking on is great and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was swift. On arriving in the room it was well presented and clean but small details were noticed as we settled in like a gap between the bathroom floor tiles and the living area. Overall though this was minor. Breakfast was excellent. Eating in the bar area which was a really nicely decorated. The staff were friendly although we did have to ask for our hot drinks where everyone else was immediately asked on arrival. Again just a small inconvenience. In conclusion I would recommend a stay here the small issues were not a problem and mostly the staff were excellent.

  My Favourite Hotel In Nottingham. For the price you get a lot, the Staff are interesting, bed comfortable & bar reasonable. For a romantic. Weekend the place to be.
